Join Sommer Sobin, co-founder of Thousand Petals Yoga, for a transformative 6-night, 7-day yoga retreat in the breathtaking region of Puglia, Italy.
Â
Our home for the retreat will be a beautifully restored 18th-century Masseria (farmhouse) perched on a hill between the Adriatic and Ionian Seas. This serene 14-acre estate features stunning architecture, a tranquil pool, a dedicated yoga space, and pathways leading to a neighboring forest.
Â
Beyond the peaceful grounds, we’ll explore local markets, picturesque coastal towns, and pristine beaches, immersing ourselves in the beauty and charm of Italian culture.
Â
Immerse yourself in the timeless charm of Italy, delight in the rich flavors of Puglian cuisine, and turn inward with a yoga program designed to elevate your practice and refresh your mind and body. For the ultimate relaxation, massages can be booked upon arrival.
Â
*This intimate retreat has space for just 18 students!
Puglia, the sun-drenched gem of Southern Italy, is a region of rustic charm, golden olive groves, and historic whitewashed villages. Known for its slower pace and stunning coastline, Puglia offers an idyllic retreat setting where life unfolds as gracefully as the waves along the Adriatic Sea.
Â
When not in session, immerse yourself in the beauty of free time—savoring local wines and cuisine, exploring ancient towns like Alberobello and Ostuni, relaxing by the pool, indulging in spa treatments, or taking a peaceful stroll through the rolling countryside.
accomodations & pricing
La Rosa dei 4 Venti was built as a Carmelitan Monastery and belonged to the order of Carmelite friars of Martina Franca dating from the year 1689, which is evidenced by the engraving on the lintel on one of the doorways of the main building and by the small church which is still consecrated and dedicated to the figure of the Virgin of Carmelo.
Â
It had always been a place for pilgrims and spiritual retreat until when it was converted into a Masseria, a typical southern Italian farmhouse, particularly in Puglia, built between the Medieval period and the 17th century.
Â
Since 2007 La Rosa dei 4 Venti returned to its original aim: to host the contemporary travelers who cross the whole world and retreat here rediscovering ones’ own well-being.
